6th & La Brea is a contemporary neighborhood brew pub with a little something for everyone located in the heart of the La Brea Corridor.
The Artisinal Brewers Collective collaborated with Southern California Restaurant Design Group on their new facility on 6th & La Brea in late 2017. SCRDG consulted with ABC on the menu production, preparation and storage, as well as the design of the bar areas to work with their in house brewing facility. Once design the phase was submitted to the Health Department, we followed through with full approvals needed to build the restaurant.
SCRDG then moved into the equipment procurement phase in which we worked with the project managers to resolve onsite issues and coordinated with the contractors to assure a smooth installation. We were able to work through some issues with the grease trap and health department requirements for approval.
Full equipment installation was the final step in SCRDG’s scope of work which included all kitchen and preparation areas as well as the dish wash area and beverage service in the back of the house and the front of house bar areas consisting of a main bar and a private dining bar.
Work was completed in the April 2018 and 6th & La Brea officially opened July 16th, 2018.
