Double Zero Pizza has opened a second location in the beautiful and trendy Venice, California. Southern California Restaurant Design Group helped remodel the existing building that the restaurant has moved into.
Our team selected for the project based on our ability to look at an existing project and use the equipment left by the previous owner. We helped negotiate the equipment contract to supply all of the necessary foodservice equipment.
The original plan was to replace the exhaust hood and wall flashing because the owners were adding a new pizza oven. We were able to keep the existing hood in place along with the wall flashing by only adding a new system just for the pizza oven, saving the owners over $25,000.
We reused other items as well and kept within the owners’ budget which delighted them. In addition, we were able to install a 4,500 pound, one-piece pizza oven by removing one of the storefront panels which also helped save money.
