We were brought into this project at a pivotal moment—construction was already underway, and the client had an existing design that didn’t meet their operational needs. Recognizing the need for a more efficient kitchen flow, we partnered closely with Kat and her team to rework the layout in real time using CAD software during live Teams meetings. These collaborative sessions were essential in understanding their vision and workflow, ultimately helping us create a design that supported both form and function.
One of the standout features of this project was the front-of-house design. The pass-thru/expo area included mirrored walls, which presented a unique challenge. These mirrors were to support both millwork and stainless steel wall shelving—something our team had never encountered before. The final result, featuring smoked mirrors, delivered a striking and elegant visual element that elevated the entire space.
Despite a tight timeline and the pressure of joining the project mid-construction, our team rose to the challenge. Thanks to strong leadership and a collaborative spirit, we not only delivered a successful redesign but also earned the client’s trust for future work. Being invited back for a second project with this client is a testament to the dedication, adaptability, and quality our team brings to every build.
