When The Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar decided to come to La Jolla, they signed Southern California Restaurant Design Group to purchase and install kitchen and bar equipment. We worked closely with the General Contractor, owners and operations team to deliver on time and on budget.
The scope of work included revising specifications to stay within the owners’ budget. This was accomplished through our extensive expertise in value engineering specified equipment and utilizing similar equipment brands of equal or greater specification but at a lower price point.
We revised the Food Service Equipment Contractor (FSEC) plans for Health Department approval, procured and staged the kitchen and bar equipment, and delivered to our installation crews for a timely and accurate installation. During the installation process we had a few alterations requested by the owner and were able to accommodate without affecting the overall timeline. Once installation was complete, we accompanied the Health Department for their review and approval for opening the restaurant.
The La Jolla location of The Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar opened with great success in March 2018.
