Southern California Restaurant Design Group and ITX Construction teamed up with The River Jetty Group to design and develop their second Restaurant in Crystal Cove, Newport Beach, A Crystal Cove. SCRDG procured all the foodservice equipment, handled the installation, as well as start up and project management for this project.  The team was also proud to offer value engineering to assist with and meet the budget.

The newest Habit Burger restaurant is now open in sunny Anaheim, California. Southern California Restaurant Design Group was eager to assist with the project.

Our team has had the privilege of assisting Habit Burger not only on a locally, but nationally and internationally as well. We are always happy to offer the franchise our expertise and assistance in equipment specification, continued value engineering of equipment brands, ordering and providing logistics and equipment for construction projects, facilities and exporting equipment to international stores. Our team also handles installation services for any type of project we undertake for Habit Burger.

The latest Anaheim project was successfully completed on time and was open for business in June 2019.

Southern California Restaurant Design Group’s Director Mike Brady led his team in the design, equipment package specification, equipment procurement and equipment installation of Positino’s newest location in Uptown Park Houston. Working closely with Postino’s Director of Construction, the SCRDG team was able to overcome the incredibly challenging supply chain issues facing the market to deliver the project on schedule. This is SCRDG’s 1st project with Postino and there are two more planned for next year. Mike’s practical experience in operational layout has also brought new design innovations to the concept.

Reyes Winery on Main

Southern California Restaurant Design Group worked with consultant Greg McNally and the owners of Reyes Winery on Main with equipment selection, installation and buildout for the three level venue. With a goal of reducing costs without jeopardizing the quality of the equipment, Account Executive Robert Read led the charge equipping all three levels of the winery/restaurant.  On the first level, the team outfitted the main bar, kitchen, and the indoor and outdoor dining areas. In the kitchen, Read brought ideas to modify the layout to better suit the menu and match the chef’s vision. The second level is where the wine is produced and includes equipment selected specifically to produce vintage wines. The rooftop boasts both indoor and outdoor wine tasting and dining areas and an event space.

Urban Plates has opened their newest location in Torrance, California and we are excited to have assisted them with the project. Our objective was to develop a highly efficient and aesthetically pleasing restaurant that met all the construction team’s operational requirements.

Southern California Restaurant Design Group specified the equipment and modified the design to develop a kitchen flow that allowed for a high level of efficiency. We look forward to working with Urban Plates as they continue to grow their national brand.

Varenita by Griffin Living

Simi Valley, CA

Southern California Restaurant Design Group partnered with consultant Jerry Prendergast to bring restaurant quality to a new assisted care facility, Varenita by Griffin Living. Overseeing design, specifications, sourcing and installation, the team’s goal was to allow for a food and beverage program that mirrors  a fine dining restaurant. The kitchen includes innovative combi-ovens and has a dynamic flow while the bar offers a selection of draft beers.  These touches are not only designed to be an amenity to the resident, but also to draw their family to visit. Looking to establish a strong footprint and capitalize on the innovations brought to this project, Griffin Living, SCRDG, and Jerry are currently working on two more projects with four more in development.
