Ed Hackbarth and David Jameson opened the first Del Taco in Yermo, CA in 1964. It was a simple menu consisting of 19¢ tacos, tostadas, fries and 24¢ cheeseburgers. From its humble beginnings in the Mojave Desert to a nationwide presence today, Del Taco continues to promote the freshness of the meals along with quality customer service. Del Taco is currently the second largest QSR in the Mexican Food category and is continuing to expand. One of our key team members has been associated with Del Taco for over twenty years and through the Southern California Restaurant Design Group has continued to provide design, procurement and installation services for the chain.
