With an iconic name and address, MelrosePlace is a restaurant and rooftop lounge with panoramic views of LA. This was an interesting project for SCRDG’s team as the space is a compact, three-story building. Additionally, with an extensive menu, the chef needed a variety of equipment including a combi-oven, broiler, open burners, fryers and a “mise en place line” to handle the many accoutrements. Account Executive, Robert Read, was able to source and oversee installation of all equipment, maximizing kitchen efficiency. The team was also able to design the indoor bar utilizing existing decor elements and create a portable bar area on the rooftop, perfect for summer nights.
