Southern California Restaurant Design Group partnered with consultant Jerry Prendergast to bring restaurant quality to a new assisted care facility, Varenita by Griffin Living. Overseeing design, specifications, sourcing and installation, the team’s goal was to allow for a food and beverage program that mirrors a fine dining restaurant. The kitchen includes innovative combi-ovens and has a dynamic flow while the bar offers a selection of draft beers. These touches are not only designed to be an amenity to the resident, but also to draw their family to visit. Looking to establish a strong footprint and capitalize on the innovations brought to this project, Griffin Living, SCRDG, and Jerry are currently working on two more projects with four more in development.
